Learn to Knit £50
Saturdays October 8 and 15, 10-11:30am

This is the course for absolute beginners will teach you everything you will need to know to make your very own snood or scarf. The basics of knitting are very simple and easy to master, you’ll be knitting away in no time!
In the first week we will learn to cast on and the knit stitch. In the second week we will learn the purl stitch, how to combine the two stitches together to make different textures and how to finish your snood or scarf. These are the foundation skills needed for knitting and will set you up for and will set you up with the skills you will need for the rest of your new hobby!

Included Materials

200g of yarn
12mm knitting needles
darning needle

The class includes materials to make a snood, additional supplies will be available to purchase to make a longer scarf if desired. The yarn included is sheeps wool, a non-wool vegan option can be provided on request.

The space is accessible with step free entrance and an accessible toilet next to the teaching space. Please feel free to get in touch in regards to any additional accessibility needs or concerns.
